Another lovely and tough day, another post, but today will be much simpler because I’ll be talking about some amazing items. I am a true audiophile, and many of you who read my posts are aware of how important music is to me. This may be the biggest factor in why I thoroughly like writing about audio equipment. Nothing new here from the last post; I will compare several well-known goods from a company whose goods are well-liked by many of us and whose products we are all familiar with. Sincerely, I think you guys will find this to be one of the greatest articles.

So let me first introduce the topic of this article. JBL Charge 4 and JBL Xtreme 3 will be compared, which will be fantastic. JBL is a well-known company, and occasionally I genuinely wonder how it is that JBL consistently provides the finest with the most cutting-edge concepts and such high-quality products. I am confident that it is not a coincidence since they are skilled at what they do and go out of their way to win over their clients. I chose to compare these two speakers for a variety of reasons because I know many of you are interested in doing so.

I realize that my introductions are lengthy enough. However, I am a chatty person and I enjoy conversing a lot. Although I am aware that sometimes this is not essential, I can’t help it; it’s okay. But enough; let’s go on to the meat of this post and provide you with some crucial details that you will find helpful.

With JBL Xtreme 3, you may enjoy your party atmosphere to the fullest and have a better music experience because it is a wireless speaker designed to handle a variety of listening conditions.  JBL Charge 4 vs JBL Xtreme 3 / Comparison -Which One Is Better?

For you to be able to see the differences between them, I will begin to compare them as we all know that JBL speakers are the ones that are used the most globally since they have a lot to offer and a lot of unique features. I’ll begin by discussing their design before moving on to the functionality and quality sound

How do they look? – Design

Since both of these speakers are ultra-portable and made by the same company, I want to start by pointing out how similar their designs and construction are. The exposed woofers and cylindrical design of the JBL Charge 4 make it unique among speakers. The actual controls for the speakers are located on their top. The big silicone door shields the USB and aux connectors from damage. It weighs 2.1 pounds and has measurements of 3.7H x 8.6W x 3.7D inches.

JBL Xtreme 3 is a speaker with a cylindrical form and an ultra-portable design that makes it simple to carry anywhere you desire. A connected shoulder strap, metal hooks that are placed on top, and a waterproof fabric speaker net cover the speaker’s surface. This speaker comes in a variety of colors. It is 5.4H x 11.8W x 5.3D in size, and it weighs 4.4 pounds.

Who is the winner?
Since they are both extremely portable and well-built, there is no clear winner. However, I can note that the JBL Charge 4 is a little bit lighter than the JBL Xtreme 3.

How much can the speakers withstand? – Durability

Durability is a crucial factor because these speakers are portable and we can take them anywhere. Since they are both constructed of carbon fiber, they are impervious to liquids and dust. Since they are both IPX7 certified and won’t be harmed by water, you can simply bring them to any pool party or beach. In conclusion, both of these speakers are quite sturdy, and JBL did a fantastic job here.

Who is the winner?
Because both are at the same level of durability, I cannot compare them in this area.

How to use them? – Connectivity and Battery Life

For audio devices to connect quickly to any device we choose, connectivity is a crucial component that always plays a significant part in the design of these devices. Both of these JBL speakers are Bluetooth speakers for obvious reasons, however, I should point to you that there are variances in the Bluetooth versions that they support. A Bluetooth speaker always differs from another.

The JBL Charge 4 is Bluetooth 4.2 compliant and supports AAC and SBC codecs, however, there are no connectivity issues at all when using it with other Bluetooth-enabled devices.

While the JBL Xtreme 3 is Bluetooth 5.1 compatible and also supports AAC and SBC codecs, one thing to keep in mind in this situation is that Bluetooth 5.1 has a far greater operational range than Bluetooth 4.2, making it more powerful.

Both speakers have sufficient long enough battery life. The JBL Charge 4’s battery life will last for 20 hours whereas the JBL Xtreme 3’s battery life will last for 18 hours.

So yeah the difference in battery life is just 2 hours.

Who is the winner?
The JBL Xtreme 3 is an improvement in terms of connection and Bluetooth version, but the JBL Charge 4 triumphs in terms of battery life, proving once more that there is no clear victor.

How do they perform? – Sound Quality

At the end of the day, I always say, “Quality Sound is all that counts,” so let’s compare these speakers to find which one has superior Quality Sound.

The JBL Charge 4 features a single driver over dual passive radiators, has a powerful bass end and sounds better in bigger rooms or open spaces. It also gets quite loud, which is why it got the name “party speaker.” There is a remarkable consistency of substance and texture across the mids and treble, and the highs are very beautifully represented, allowing you to hear the voices and instruments quite clearly and precisely.

When compared to many other speakers, like the JBL Charge 4, the JBL Xtreme 3 is more potent and remarkable since it boasts four bass drivers. JBL Xtreme 3’s audio performance has never let us down. No matter how complex the musical arrangement is, the highs and mids are well-balanced and never seem out of place.

Who is the winner?
Nevertheless, there is a winner in the end. The JBL Xtreme 3 is the winner of this segment because of its four bass drivers and its strong and excellent sound.

Of course, some minor variations may aid you in making the best choice.
