Sennheiser 350BT vs 450BT – Similarities and Differences

So, as we got who is who and what they do, the time has come to find out which ones are the best headphones that one can choose, Sennheiser 350BT or 450BT! Let me compare them based on their features!

How do the headphones look? – Design and Appearance

We all know that Sennheiser headphones look pretty similar to one another, and these two pairs are no exception. Both Sennheiser 350BT and 450BT measure 6.1 x 2.6 x 7.6 inches and weighs 8.4 ounces. As you can see there is not a slight ounce that makes them differ from one another.

The headphones, 350BT and 450BT, both come in two colors and they are black and white. In general form, the headphones are made mostly of plastic. The headband is adjustable so that it can fit any type of head, and the earcups are big enough to assure the fact that they are great over-ear headphones.

Comfort is also a feature that both these headphones own since they can be used for long periods of time, being a great friend for you. Based on their size and weight, Sennheiser 350BT and Sennheiser 450BT are super portable and great travel companions.

These headphones don’t own an IP rating, but Sennheiser says that both of them are durable enough to come with you out in any weather conditions, yet again you should be very careful.

Who is the winner?
Based on the fact that I mentioned above, at this point, we don’t have a winner since they both come in the same size, the same materials are used to make, and both are portable and comfortable.

How to use them with my other devices? – Connectivity and Compatibility

The BT on the names of these headphones stands for Bluetooth, and that makes the connectivity part super visible. They both use Bluetooth of version 5.0 and it is one of the greatest versions that are used mostly in headphones.

The codecs that are included in these headphones, in both of them, are the AAC and AptX Low Latency

According to the Bluetooth and the codecs, these headphones are compatible with any device that owns Bluetooth, and once connected, the connection is very sturdy and they work at a range of 33 feet.

Who is the winner?
Here goes another win-win situation since both the Sennheiser 350BT and 450BT headphones use the same Bluetooth version, they use the same codecs, and they have they both have the same range of connections.

Are these headphones good performers? – Sound Quality

The sound, the way anything sounds, is the main reason that we talk about headphones, speakers, or anything else that is related to them. Sennheiser devices, in general, sound perfectly fine, and the Sennheiser 350BT and 450BT are no exception.

These headphones work at the same frequency response, and it is 18Hz – 22,000 Hz. The SPL (Sound Pressure Level) is 108 dB, and it is again the same in both of them.

In a general form, these headphones sound perfectly fine, and they both know how to deliver the greatest sound quality that headphones can provide you with. Every frequency of sound from the lowest to the highest is delivered to you clearly enough in order to say perfect! The bass comes deep and super dynamic, just as it should be.

An important thing that should be mentioned about these two pairs of headphones is that the Sennheiser 450BT has Active Noise Cancellation, meanwhile, the 350BT doesn’t! The noise-canceling in 450BT works in the greatest way possible, and it fully encloses you and the music without accepting the noises that may bother you, even if you may be in the loudest environments.

Who is the winner?
In general, for the sound quality there is no winner, but, when it comes to the part of noise cancellation, it is more than obvious that Sennheiser 450BT is the winner and the beast here.

How long can I use them for a charge? – Battery Life

Even though the Sennheiser 350BT and 450BT have a lot of things in common, there is an important fact that should be mentioned about these two types of headphones, and it is that they use different types of batteries. Sennheiser 350BT works with a lithium-polymer battery, while the Sennheiser 450BT works with a CR2 battery

Anyways, the difference in the battery types doesn’t do much in these headphones. Both of them can stay with you for 30 hours, which is a perfect amount of time!

They come with a USB-C charger, and the recharging time is approximately 2 hours.

Who is the winner?
I am glad to say that here, at this part is no winner either! Both of the headphones can stay with you for the same amount of time. But, always remember, the battery types are quite different from one another.

Final Words

The best question of this article would be “Is there a winner?” because there clearly isn’t! Now, there was one when it came to the noise-canceling part because it is a feature that is only included in Sennheiser 450BT and I am very happy to announce these headphones as the winners on that field.

However, considering the fact that there is no other big difference, I would like to say that both of the headphones are amazing in case you want to choose and use them.

What I hope right now, is that this article will be your biggest guide in case you want to find out which is better, Sennheiser 350BT or Sennheiser 450BT!
