Here I come with yet another comparison article. I think this article with be the fanciest one I have written so far, since I’m going to compare two products of one of the fanciest brands which originate in the USA, and I’m talking about Tozo. I say the fanciest because this brand was founded in Seattle, Washington, and for some reason I find that city modern, luxurious and fancy.

In this article, you will find a close comparison between two types of Tozo earbuds, to be more specific, a comparison between Tozo T10 and T12.

I’ll dive into the details related to these two types of earbuds coming from the same brand, and hopefully, come up with the winner in the end. So, without further ado, let’s get into the comparison, but first a selfie!! No, first an overview of both earbuds! Let’s start!

Tozo T10 Vs. T12 – Overview

Tozo T10

We have the T10, which is not the T12’s forerunner. Similar to the majority of Tozo’s products, they have a straightforward and attractive design with a physical button in place of a touch-sensitive surface.

Three silicone ear cubs in various sizes, each of which fits your ear exactly, are included in the box. The T10’s charging case is designed with good quality components and is expertly crafted. Additionally, the case is magnetic, making it incredibly simple to place your T10 for charging.

Unfortunately, as you would anticipate from earbuds in this price level, they include a Micro-USB charging port. Although the battery life is only good for 3–4 hours of playtime, the 20–25 minutes it takes to recharge means you can start playing again right away.

The T10 offers Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity and an IPX8 certified for water resistance, just like the T12.

  • Bluetooth Version: 5.0
  • Charging: Wireless Charging Case & USB
  • Water resistance: IPX8 Waterproof
  • Speaker driver: 8 mm
  • Battery life: 3-4 hours
  • Bluetooth range: 25-40 feet
  • Color: Black, gray, white, khaki

Tozo T12

You would initially believe that the T12 just outperforms the T10, but this is untrue. Instead of being a better over the previous selection, they are more like a separate choice that went in a different direction.

Tozo appears to have established its signature style and is sticking with it. They are not abusing their design with oversized branding, which is a nice thing that many people admire, unlike most other Bluetooth earbuds.

They are quite dependable because they have the most recent Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity. They also have a respectable range of 30 feet.

The T12’s build quality is its best feature. They feature an IPX8 waterproof certified in addition to being incredibly durable. This indicates that you should avoid immersing them in water that is too deep but still submerges them.

  • Bluetooth Version: 5.0
  • Charging: Wireless Charging Case & USB
  • Water resistance: IPX8 Waterproof
  • Speaker driver: 10 mm
  • Battery life: 5 hours
  • Bluetooth range: 25-40 feet
  • Color: Black

Tozo T10 Vs. T12 – Which One Has the Upper Hand?

Sound Quality

When purchasing earphones, consideration should be given to sound quality. Fortunately, the sound quality on each of these earbuds is respectable.

Each earbud of the T12 contains a 10mm speaker driver, while the T10’s speaker driver is 8mm in size. The variation in the sound is caused by this.

It can be said with certainty that the T12 boasts exceptional sound quality that can compete with some of the top earbud producers. The bass on the T12 is quite astounding given that the typical sound driver size for earbuds is between 6mm and 8mm.

The mids and highs are also clear, so the voices sound fantastic even though the bass’ punch is pushing them farther back. The T10, however, still offers a respectable sound quality. They lack the powerful bass and power of the T12, yet they still have enough power to let you enjoy your music.

And the winner is?
With a tiny difference, we can say that T12 is the winner!

The only noticeable variation between the two earphones’ designs is the touch-sensitive technology included in the T12. The physical button on the T10, on the other hand, cannot be used to adjust volume. The T12’s touch-sensitive technology allows you to manage the volume in addition to many other features.

Additionally, the T12 offers a wider range of ear cups in various sizes so you may choose the one that fits your ears the best.

And the winner is?
T12 seems to mark a victory in this unit, as well.

Battery Life

The only difference in terms of charging is the USB-C connector on the T12s, which is wonderful because both earbuds support wireless charging. The T10, on the other hand, charges using an older-style Micro-USB port, which is why it takes a little longer to charge.

When purchasing earphones, battery life is extremely important, and the T12 is the clear winner in this regard. They have a strong battery life of up to 5 hours, which is greater than average, compared to the T10’s battery life of 3–4 hours, which is more subpar.

And the winner is?
T12 has an hour longer of a battery life, so we can consider them as the winner.

Everyone wants dependable earbuds that offer a good connection to the source. Thankfully, they both have the most recent Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity, which offers many advantages like automatic pairing and high-bitrate music for enhanced sound quality.

Both have a reliable connection and, depending on the setting, have a range of 25–40 feet. You’ll typically get a range of about 30 feet, which is sufficient.

The ability to pair each earbud separately, one at a time, is another fantastic feature of both earbuds. Although it’s not ideal for music listening, doing this will double your battery life and won’t interfere with your ability to maintain situational awareness.

Why Should You Buy It?
This one is a tie, which means we do not have a winner, they both perform well when it comes to connectivity.

Final Words

And here you have it, the most accurate comparison ever between two amazing earbuds. I would say, T12 is the winner, but the truth is that they aren’t very different from each other, so you won’t be making a wrong decision, whichever you decide to purchase.

T12 has a little bit more improved sound quality, not to forget the touch buttons. So, if you like those features, go for T12. But, if you are feeling like you are on a budget, then probably T10 would be a better option for you.

Nevertheless, as I mentioned above, regardless of your decision, you will be getting amazing earbuds, cause they both are amazing.
