The owner’s first goal for most home theaters is to upgrade their soundbar. It’s a good place to start if you really want to enhance your home entertainment system. When you connect a soundbar to your TV, the sound will be delivered through the Soundbar, which is louder than the TV’s built-in speaker.

You should not add a subwoofer to your home cinema system if you have a restricted amount of space. It can be difficult to find a good soundbar that does not have a huge subwoofer, but don’t worry, I’ll take care of it for you.

Without a subwoofer, the finest soundbar should be small enough to fit on the TV stand. It should be capable of boosting frequencies in the midrange and high ranges. Adding a subwoofer outside can help with lower frequencies, but it isn’t always essential.

A soundbar is required if you want to improve the audio on your TV or stereo system. However, there are numerous models to choose from. Continue reading to find more about the greatest soundbars that don’t have a subwoofer.

5. YAMAHA YAS-108 – Connectivity of 4K

Because of its similar voice enhancement feature, the Yamaha YAS-108 isn’t far behind the Sonos Playbar. As a result, capturing accurate voices and mid-ranges from my audio was a breeze. It also has greater communication possibilities, as Bluetooth and HDMI are both supported.

Yamaha YAS-108  has lower bass, treble, and overall sound quality than the Bose and Sonos soundbars. Because it didn’t have an integrated mobile app, I also had less control over it.

This soundbar lacks an external subwoofer, as do the other soundbars on our list. It does, however, come with two built-in micro subwoofers for a more realistic sound. It also contains two speakers and two tweeters to provide listeners with a wide spectrum of musical tones.

The Yamaha YAS-108 is equipped with Bluetooth and 4K technologies. For input, it has HDMI, digital optical, and stereo connectors. There’s also an HDMI ARC port for output. It’s also compatible with DTS Visual, which is DTS’s 3D surround sound version.

7. Bose Smart Soundbar 900 – Best Overall

The Smart Soundbar 900 by Bose is a fantastic makeover of their previous soundbar. It’s my top selection for the best soundbar without a subwoofer because, when compared to the Sonos Beam Gen 2 and the Yamaha YAS-108, it has the sweetest and most immersive soundstage. Its seven drives and PhaseGuide technology are responsible for that amazing sounstage.

Because of this soundbar’s clean and decent sound profile, I had a blast listening to my music playlist and watching my favorite action and thriller movies. Even for the finest nuances, it produced excellent and clean sound. It also supports Dolby Atmos content, giving you more alternatives for listening.

The Bose Smart Soundbar 900 also boasts an ADAPTiQ room correction technology that adjusts your audio depending on the environment and mood in your space. For improved functionality, it also supports Alexa and Google Assistant voice controls.

The only major flaw I discovered with this bar is that it lacks a bass thud and a low register in your music. However, due to the lovely and expansive soundstage, it went unnoticed. Another minor flaw I observed is the HDMI port’s restricted capacity. Because of its Bluetooth connectivity, it isn’t a major issue. Definitely, the Best Soundbar Without a Subwoofer you can buy.

Key specifications of Bose Smart Soundbar 900:

  • Dimensions/weight: 2.29″ H x 41.14″ W x 4.21″ D (12.68 lb)
