The built-in speakers that come with computers and laptops have improved greatly, but they still fall short of providing a fully immersive experience. A 2.1 speaker system is the perfect choice whether you’re watching a movie, playing a video game, or listening to music.

The Logitech Z313 and Z323 are two of the 2.1 speaker systems that Logitech offers. I’ll be writing about their dimensions, aesthetics, acoustic capabilities, sound quality, features, and cost-effectiveness. My goal is to choose the superior speaker system using their specifications, and some advantages, and disadvantages of both speakers.

But first, as always, let me write the specifications of both speakers and then proceed with the comparison! Here I go!

Power

The Peak wattage and the RMS were the two key figures I focused on. The largest amount of electricity available at any particular time is known as the peak wattage. The RMS displays the maximum sustained power that a speaker system is capable of handling.

Logitech Z313 – 50W is the total peak wattage. The satellite speakers’ RMS is 5W apiece, while the subwoofer’s RMS is 15W, for a combined RMS of 25W.

Logitech Z323 – In terms of peak and RMS power, it is a little bit stronger. The maximum output is 60W. The subwoofer uses 18W of the total RMS power, and the satellite speakers use 6W apiece.

Appearance

The two speaker systems have silver accents and are both matte and shiny black. They are sleek and contemporary. The size difference is more obvious than the little difference in design.

Logitech Z313 – The subwoofer is 8.66 x 6 x 9 inches, weighs 5 pounds, and is compact enough to fit beneath desks. The satellite speakers are only 1 pound in weight and measure 3.25 by 3.25 by 5.75 inches.

Logitech Z323 – The satellite speakers appear slimmer because they are taller. They weigh 2.33 pounds together and have dimensions of 8.3 x 3.4 x 4.5 inches. The subwoofer that comes with the Logitech Z323 is not specifically described in any product information.

Controls

There is a dial knob to adjust the bass on the back of each subwoofer. The volume and power buttons can change.

Logitech Z313 – This includes a 6-foot wire and a very useful control pod. You can regulate the level and turn on the speaker system without being close to the speaker’s thanks to this control pad.

The control pod makes it possible to manage your speaker configuration without having to go over to the speakers, which is really practical.

Moreover, you may adjust and position the satellite speakers farther from you with a control pod, which will improve the range configuration for the listening sweet spot.

Logitech Z323 – A dial knob for volume adjustment and a power button are located on the right satellite speaker.

Input Connections

Even though they are marketed as computer speaker systems, you may connect more than just your laptop.

Logitech Z313 – You will be able to connect any device that is compatible with a 3.5mm input.

Logitech Z323 – You can connect multiple devices with a 3.5mm and RCA. Additionally, you can go back and forth between two connected devices. If you want to connect in your headphones and listen to music secretly, there is also a headphone jack available.

Included

The contents of the box increase the value of the money. Knowing whether you have all you need to get going right away is also crucial.

Logitech Z313 – You will also get the control pad, a power cable, and audio cables with different colors in addition to the subwoofer and satellite speakers. The user manual is also included. It says on the packaging that this speaker system is ready to use. Simply plug the speakers into the subwoofer and the subwoofer into your device to get started.

Logitech Z323 – The usage manuals are included with the satellite speakers and subwoofer. Although there is a power cable, cables are not mentioned in the product description.

Logitech Z323 and Z313 – Similarities

Subwoofer

The included subwoofer for the Logitech Z313 and Z323 is ported and down-firing in design. As a result, you can place the speakers wherever in the room and still have an excellent base because the sound is directed downward, yeah good sound quality is taken for granted so don’t doubt that part.

Compatibility

The Logitech Z313 and Z323 can be used with Windows, Mac, Linux, and other popular operating systems.

Warranty

You will get a one-year limited warranty with the Logitech Z313 and Z323.

Final Words, Conclusion

I think these speaker systems are great for the money, especially if you fiddle with the knobs during the initial setup. In relation to that, both the Logitech Z313 and the Logitech Z323 truly only require plugging them in to begin using them.

Again, for the price, the sound quality for gaming, movies, and music will exceed your expectations. Despite the Logitech having 360º sound, you won’t hear a significant difference in the quality of the sound.

I find the Logitech Z323 to have a more aesthetically pleasing appearance when it comes to design and aesthetics; the satellite speakers are taller but more slender and elegant-looking, and they are shiny black. On the other hand, the Logitech Z313’s compact design is more practical and takes up less room.

I came to the conclusion that the Logitech Z313 has superior speakers. The control pad was the actual game-changer, even though the price was a factor. I was free to move from where the speaker set was thanks to this tiny device.

But, of course, you don’t have to play along and go with my choice, You can make your own calculations and come up with another verdict. The choice is as always up to you, this article can serve just as a closer look at both speakers, so you know what to take into consideration, and where to rely on.

That’s all for today. I’ll see you next time!
