If a company decides to take the same product and simply add a 2 to it, it is clear that the previous product was a tremendous success, and they are attempting to continue the trend.
Sonos Beam is an example of this.
Following the success of the original Sonos Beam, the successor Sonos Beam Gen 2 is doing the same with even more capabilities.
If you’re wondering where Sonos Beam Gen 2 fits in, it’s now on par with the company’s monarch, the Sonos Arc.
The Beam Gen 2 is essentially the same soundbar as its predecessor, with the exception that it has new features. It is the same rounded compact soundbar with oblong chassis returns and speaker arrangement of one tweeter, four woofers, and three passive radiators.
In comparison to most soundbars, the Sonos Beam Gen 2 is modest. It’s slightly over half a meter broad and less than ten centimeters tall and deep, so it’ll fit under most televisions. If you choose, you may put it on a stand using the screwed holes on the base.
As for colors, you will find them in black and white which both are colors that won’t interfere with your furniture as they will look good and blend in.

When it comes to Bose speakers, we take them for granted. A renowned brand that can’t seem to stop producing high-quality audio equipment.
Following the success of the 700 in the soundbar market, the long-awaited successor has arrived.
Bose’s latest flagship, the Smart Soundbar 900, features Dolby Atmos overhead speakers and a surprisingly large soundstage.
Oh yeah, for sure, it does all that by looking good too.
Apart from the luxury appearance, the first thing you’ll notice when you take it out of the box is how little and compact it is in comparison to some competitors.
The Bose Smart Soundbar, which measures 41.14 x 4.21 x 2.29 inches (WxDxH) and weighs 12 pounds, won’t block the bottom edge of most TVs when positioned in front of them.
The glass top, which has a superb aesthetic touch, is what makes this soundbar stand out and tells you that it means business. The oval opening up-firing drivers aren’t left behind; in fact, they add to the luxury appeal even more.
Just be aware that the glass is prone to collecting dust and fingerprints.
Sound has a lot of power. As a result, the Bose Smart Soundbar 900 with Dolby Atmos brings the cinematic experience into your home.

The next soundbar is from TCL, a company that works quite well with Roku TV; in fact, I believe that most of their soundbars are Roku TV-ready.
This is a Roku TV soundbar that won’t break the bank while yet fulfilling all of your needs; it’s a perfect choice for most folks who aren’t seeking anything too serious.
The TCL Alto 6+ is a compact bar that should fit between the legs of a 55-inch television. It’s not particularly tall, and unless it’s flat with the table, it shouldn’t block your view.
Because it is in the budget range, it is largely composed of plastic, yet it is of good quality and does not feel cheap or flimsy.
It also includes an MDF subwoofer, which is extremely durable and is the primary contributor to the Alto 6+’s excellent bass. It has a wireless subwoofer, which means that you won’t have to deal with cables laying in the middle of your room.
The Alto 6+ not only sounds amazing overall, but it also emphasizes bass, but it’s not the kind of bass you’d expect to feel on your throat. It’s best for listening to discussions and occasionally viewing movies with explosions and such.
Overall, I believe it is a soundbar that will appeal to most people because there isn’t much at fault.

2. TCL Alto 8i – Best Value
TCL has experimented with everything from folding phones to TVs and to a variety of everyday items.
You could say it’s a jack of all trades and master of none brand, but I don’t believe that’s the case here because their products are of great value and cost-effectiveness.
For example, consider their Alto 8i Roku TV soundbar, which offers unbeatable value for the price.
Aside from the price, what makes this Roku TV soundbar stand out is its support for Dolby Atmos, a feature that isn’t present in any of its competitors in this price range.
When it comes to design, this is a budget product, so don’t anticipate anything spectacular. It’s simply a black bar with a basic design and an all-black plastic exterior that won’t attract unwanted attention.
The TCL Alto 8i bar measures 39.0 x 2.6 x 5.2 inches and weighs only 2.90 kilograms. It isn’t overly wide and should easily fit beneath most 55-inch televisions.
The Alto 8i is only available as a bar, with no separate subwoofer or similar. It would be a bargain and unfair to the manufacturing costs if it came with an extra speaker.
The TCL Alto 8i, unlike most cheap models we’ve seen, features a lot of input ports. It has a HDMI port for In/Out, Optical In, USB, and Full HDMI In.
When it comes to sound quality, it does sound nice; I won’t lie and oversell it, but I also won’t undersell it; it has a well-balanced midrange and a loud and bright overall sound quality; nevertheless, those who want a more balanced sound signature may be disappointed.
But, overall, I enjoy how they sound; there’s nothing here that will harm your ears or deliver insufficient sound, and the Dolby Atmos technology is just an extra bonus that it “shouldn’t have”.

You will be hard-pressed to find a better option than this one for the price it comes with. Great audio quality, surround sound technology, dolby atmos and many features make it a great buy. It pretty much covers the essential thing a Roku TV soundbar needs to have.
1. TCL Alto 9+ – Best Overall
Last but certainly not least we have the Alto 9+, a Roku TV soundbar that belongs in the more advanced spectrum of soundbars, however, as always the price is quite reasonable and it isn’t going to make you fall out of your chair.
The TCL Alto 9+ is a 3.1 setup built to work with TCL’s Roku TVs, and it’s a terrific choice for a variety of uses, including gaming, watching movies, and even listening to music.
The TCL Alto 9+ is a slim Roku TV soundbar with a unique style; it’s composed of plastic, and the fabric protects the drivers from dust and other contaminants.
This soundbar has TCL’s RAY-DANZ technology, which creates a wider soundstage by using vent-like apertures on the side of the bar. There’s also a plastic cover that can be used to hide the connections, which is a great touch.
Something that irritates me, and which I discovered at fault, is that the bar is fairly wide, and it will struggle to fit between the legs of a 55-inch tv. On the other hand, it isn’t particularly tall, so it won’t obscure the TV screen.
There’s also the MDF and plastic wireless subwoofer. The wireless subwoofer stands on four plastic pegs it greatly contributes to providing good bass.
In terms of sound quality, the Alto 9+ has a very well-balanced sound profile that focuses mostly on the midrange; I believe that everyone will enjoy the sound of this Roku TV soundbar. It offers 3.1 surround sound too using the included HDMI cable.
If you are a lover of EDM or Hip-Hop, however, you will be disappointed because it lacks forceful, booming bass.
Nonetheless, as a feature-rich soundbar, it sounds great and will improve your viewing experience significantly over the built-in speakers on your Roku TV.

A great overall soundbar that will benefit you for multiple uses, is something you need to consider since the price tag is not going to hurt your bank either. The wireless subwoofer is also a great addition, and it can be paired with anything to create a great surround sound system.

The connection is a simple thing to consider before purchasing a new Roku TV soundbar.
It doesn’t matter how good a sound system you bought if you can’t connect it to your TV, it will be all pointless.
Wait a minute, Are sound bars really worth it?
Before we move to the next step, are they really worth it?
To put it bluntly, yes in every aspect.
Soundbars are a terrific alternative to home theater surround sound, which is why everyone buys them when home theater surround isn’t in their grasp.
But, let’s be honest, a true home theater sound comes in a variety of forms. For example, you’ll need separate amplifiers, speakers, and, on top of that, a “big bank.” Why go through all of that when you can just get a soundbar?

You’ve probably seen that every soundbar i recommended in this list is proud to say it supports HDMI Arc. Well, what is HDMI Arc?
HDMI Arc is used to have less clutter on your TV, meaning less cables. On HDMI Arc, the signal is capable of traveling through the cables in both ways, resulting in higher audio quality. If you ask me, every soundbar should have a HDMI ARC port.
